I recently purchases a house, moved in 2 weeks ago today. I appear to have a serious ant (possible termite) problem in my utility room. I was hoping to have someone come out to investigate the problem and give advice on what is best to do to get rid of them.

having moved into an apartment four months ago,sight unseen,I quickly learned that it is infested with mostly cockroaches, which the management deliberately opted to not inform me about. The owners have about 7 to 9 properties all largely on the same street, and all of them have a serious bug infestation, which is forever perpetuated by them allowing tenants to move back and forth between the several properties, simply transporting the bugs again and again. I've refused to allow for them to spray my unit because I have 16 parakeets living with me and because I've been unable to make arrangements for them to be taken out of the house while the spraying is going on. HELP!!!

Squirrels
Squirrels can find plenty of places in your home to gnaw and nibble away. It could be the insulation of a wire that causes electrocution and fire hazards or even the roof or the siding that could cost you thousands of dollars to fix. Squirrels enjoy a nice and cozy attic that they can nibble their way through. An attic in fact can provide him with a home and plenty of food. Squirrels may look like harmless teensy weensy creatures, but you'll quickly realize that you'd be better off without these pesky rodents in your home. They seek the warmth of cozy places like your attic, where they sneak through an existing hole or nibble their way through. They can quickly damage wires in the attic, leaving electrical wires exposed. Plus, they leave behind fecal and urine deposits in your attic that quickly give out a foul smell. They nibble their way though the roofs, siding, gables etc. The most common squirrel is the gray squirrel. It wakes up quite early and hunts for food. Stone foundations are a red squirrel’s favorite place to hide. If you hear noises in the night, then that could be the flying squirrel, frolicking in your attic with the bats.
When it comes to squirrel control, people may try to sell you doubtful merchandise that will only leave your home unhygienic, and will do nothing to get rid of the pesky rodents. This is why a squirrel pest control is more reliable as the squirrels are caught in front of you, and then the holes that these squirrels use as doors to your house, are carefully sealed. This sealing is done when the squirrel is not in the hole, else it could re enter your house by gnawing through the fresh seal. Then, the squirrel removal company cleans up the squirrel’s feces and urine, so that your house is free of that horrible stink. You can also use a control spray, but that’s not the answer to your worries, because it does nothing to get rid of the feces and urine.
